Youth Space

The Youth Space is a safe, sober, and inclusive space for youth aged 10yrs - 13yrs (In grade 7) and 13 yrs (In grade 8) – 18 yrs. in Bakerview Park, Surrey. All our activities and events are run by local youth in community, based off their own passions and interests.

If youth have ideas for a fabulous event or there’s a skill you want to learn, the Youth Space is the place to make those ideas a reality! We’re open every weekday - please see our current schedule or contact us.

We have lots of things to do for free here, like play foosball, volleyball, badminton, soccer to name a few; painting; switch game tournaments; cooking and baking; or open mic nights and karaoke. We also have occasional registered programs focusing on mental health, self-care and specific topics, as well as activities & out trips throughout the year.

The staff at the Youth Space are also youth workers, who are there to help to finish your resume, find a job, apply for income assistance, find housing, connect to mental health resources, learn to cook or if you just need a friendly person to chat to ... or come along and just hang out and meet some new friends :-)
