
Options Home Based Support and Detox
What to Expect
Following your phone call to our Intake Worker, an appointment will be scheduled in your home for the initial assessment.Our addictions team will visit daily to provide medical, emotional and social support for you and your family. We will develop a care plan individually tailored for you and your family's needs. Following the detox period, you and your family can continue with our Addictions Counsellor and Outreach Worker for follow-up and on-going after-care.With your consent, our partners and SFU may reach out to you for additional follow-up as they complete their research on this initiative.
Eligibility criteria
Are you or someone you care for requiring support to detox?Our Home Based Addictions Support and Detox program may be able to help. Eligibility to participate in the Home-Based program is that you are 19 years plus, voluntarily accessing services, and must have a caregiver available for the first 3 days 24/7 (for alcohol detoxes only). Other criteria may apply, contact for details.
