WAVAW - Rape Crisis Centre

Operates a 24-hour crisis line for self-identified women and female youth, and trans, non-binary, and Two-Spirit individuals who are survivors of rape or sexual violence (including childhood sexual abuse) or criminal harassment. Services include emotional support, crisis intervention, resources, and information and referrals for community services. Also offers one-to-one counselling, advocacy, support groups, 24-hour accompaniment to the hospital and/or police station, and assistance with completion of legal forms and compensation applications. Services for Indigenous women and youth include counselling, support groups, and community referrals.
